You may have a short in the dash, i would have it checked by a mechanic, if it is a short it could cause a fire, so you should have it checked ASAP........

Radio,clock cigarette lighter

lighter will most probably be on its own fuse, which in your case is blown.
radio and clock will probably be on the same fuse, which has blown.
Its important to remember that most radios have their own fuse which is found at the back of the radio.(radio will have to be removed) but try the easy fuse first (in the fuse panel

replace the bulb in the overhead light. the light cover should just pull off (may be a small clip to free it, flathead screwdriver )

Cigrate lighter, radio and foof light does not get on even fuses ar good for toyota corolla 2001

Check these two fuses. Fuse number 31 in fuse box location 4, if cigarette lighter, radio and clock. Else fuse number 5 in fuse box location 2, if only radio and clock and not cigarette lighter.

I started my 2002 Toyota Corolla and my radio turned on, but the minute I plugged something into the cigarette lighter the entire radio including the clock shut down and the lights didn't even light up. I...

probably the fuse that powers the cigarette lighter also powers the radio so check the cigarette lighter and socket for a short and replace the fuse.

Radio & clock stopped working. No fuses labeled "radio" or "clock" in under-hood block, or under- dash block

The fuse in postion 32 (15 Amp) in the box under the dash by the steering wheel also powers your cigarette lighter and radio also powers the clock. If only the clock is dead then it is not a fuse issue. This is a very common problem with the 96-05 Corolla clocks. The clocks are very prone to internal failure. Radio does not turn on. the clock shows, the light

The memory wire of the radio,(the power for the clock and channel settings) is usually connected to the same circuit as the cigarette lighter. (there is a seperate fuse for radio) Check your cigarette lighter socket for damage or dirt, etc. could be causing the memory fuse to blow. Also check your cig lighter accesories (like cell phone chargers, etc.)

P.S. The backlight is also a seperate circuit (connected to interior light/parking light circuit)

Radio, clock and lighter quit working

This is the interior fuse. The fusebox is on the left side under the dash, in front of the door. The fusebox door has a diagram identifying the fuses. Replacement fuses are available from any discount store or auto parts store. Use the correct amperage fuse.

2000 Toyota Corolla Radio/Clock

Apart from the fuse cutting off you might have had some wires cut off too. Have an expert take a look at it for you.

I experienced this before.

Good luck.

Radio, Cig Lighter and Clock all stopped Working

The radio, lighter and clock are controlled by 2 fuses:
The 15 Amp CIG and the 15 amp DOME, under the dash, driver side, for a USA car.
