HAVE TO CHECK FOR GAS FROM THE TANK TO THE ENGINE.

low fuel pressure causing random misfires

A bad cat will glow when vehicle is at normal operating temperature.
vaccum leak, tune-up?

BAd headgasket or you have a bad cylinder. You need to have a compression check done on your vehicle

sounds like bad gas

disable the fuel pump and spray carb cleaner into the throttle body

assuming the car starts then you have confirmed the bad gas theory

most bad gas is the result of water so buy 2-4 bottles of "Gas Dry" and see if that helps

otherwise you will have to get the tank drained and refuel with good gas

Could be bad gas, water in the gas? Run the tank down to about 1/4 and put gas from somewhere else in it. Maybe higher octane for one tank full. Maybe put an additive in with it. If it clears up, then it was the gas.

need to have a fuel pressure test also make sure egr is not open at idle car wont run with egr open at idle

might need to get the carb clean you sound like you have bad gas in your system gas does go bad with time maybe try some gas treatment with fresh gas and some carb cleaner.

Possible dirty fuel filter. I'd start there first, as it's the cheapest route, and quite possibly replacing the filter will solve your problem.
