Daihatsu Sirion 1.3 2006. Motor crank but dont want to start when cold. When tow start in 2nd gear it start. Then dont idle on own till green temp light goes off. Then it ilde and start as normal. Checks done so far new fuel pump,starter,new battery,new spark plugs, new air filter, all fuses, dianostic no errors. What can it be?

Hello,
I don't know the car in details, but check if there is a temp sensor for a starter circuitry.
Maybe you can find a service manual on manualslib.com and check how the system should work.

CHECK THE COILS, WE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM SPENT MONEY ON NEW STARTER, BATT, ETC. .....GOOD LUCK

When you say cranking engine is it strong spin? or slow? sounds like battery could be getting weak ? possible ?

Most times engine surging is caused by a manifold vaccuum leak. Lightly spray some carburetor cleaner around the intake manifold and vaccuum lines to check for a leak.

Sirion 2006 model power steering system have some failure in EPS motor. remove your power steering motor and clean and fix it. power steering system will ok.
if it is not good tell me please what is the error code

Idle speed is very low....

Fuel injected? if so check the coolant temp sensor. Do not confuse with the temp sender as they are diffrent.
