Van problems my van had been losing power while i was going down the road and husband thought i was crazy cause it didn't do it with him so he never looked into it.it just cut off going down the road on him and he got it started and took it to the store and put some fuel cleaner and put high grade gas.jit did ok for the next two days and than it did it again.cut off going down the road.he checked fuel pump and it's pumping.he said one line was he didn't know whether they both were suppose to or not.it will turn over but won't start.any solutions will be helpful

I have a 2003 Town and Country mini-van and I lost power to all my ... In addition to this my wipers, headlight controls, blinker controls, power door locks, and A/C/heat controls are out as well. The odd thing is that the power windows work, the power sideview mirrors work, the radio and ceiling lights also work.

some also have a transmission computer on the firewall that interfer with driving down the road if they go bad it will cause vehicle to downshift and go slow and then go no where until it cools down then it will crank and go again.

I'm showing three fan relays in the wiring diagram.
The fans are powered by two 30amp maxi fuses. The relays and fan motors are grounded thru the engine computer. The computer takes input from the coolant sensor and the ac control to decide when fans are needed. You would need to know if the computer is grounding the relays, and if not, why not. You may need a scanner to monitor computer output.

Disconnecting the battery cable while the vehicle is running is a no no ! The electronic's on your vehicle , you can cause some serious problem's doing that . That was ok on 1960 era vehicles , from 1970 on with all the transistors in the electronic control modules ,you don't want to do that . fuel pump relay switch which will cause fuel pump to also become week had same problem for three yrs. My husband, every mecanic in country thought i was crazy, cuz never did it and i mean never when I took it to shop, was so flustrating, untill finally one day my husband was with me when it done it. I said finally damn car tryed make me think I was crazy, i said believe me now, said yeah, **** He drove it all time to but never in those three yrs did it ever do it to him, me on the other hand everytime i drove it just about, so i think he thought i was crazy or just wanted a different car and im like no just want mine fixed so i didnt have to take it for a walk everyday instead i would like to driving it cuz everytime i left the house in those three yrs i was usually walking back, or hitching a ride, my car walked me very often lol, That was 5 yrs ago have never had a problem with the car since, still driving it today.

sounds like you need to freshen up the spark plugs,wires,and or coil packs if they have them
