Why cannot delete code p02459 - Silverado 2500HD Chevrolet Cars & Trucks

Have the codes been deleted ? need to delete the codes otherwise will keep getting the issues

Some cars require codes to be deleted with proper scan tool.

You can delete the codes by removing the battery negative terminal for 5 Sec or more. By this method you can only delete the engine and power train codes. ABS and EPS codes cannot be deleted by this method. Better to retrieve and delete the error codes with code reader or diagnostic computer. Make a note of freeze frame data before clearing the codes.

SAMSUNG P1000 Unlocking instructions:

Method 1:

1 - Switch ON your Samsung P1000 with a NOT ACCEPTED SIM Card.
2 - Samsung P1000 will ask for "Password".
3 - Enter the Unlock Code.

OR (if the Samsung P1000 shows "Insert Correct SIM Card")

Method 2:

1 - Switch ON your Samsung P1000 with a NOT ACCEPTED SIM Card.
2 - Don't bother about what's being displayed on your Samsung P1000.
3 - Compose : #0111*CODE#.

NOT ACCEPTED: We mean, to use a sim card from a network other than the network your Samsung P1000 is locked to.
CODE: Its the unique Unlock Code for your Samsung P1000.

If method 2 does not work, you can try method 2 again but this time without any SIM card on your Samsung P1000.

this seems to be a common problem, so is mine....someone said to press the hold button, unplug battery for 24hrs, delete code, check transmission fluid??? tried all..deleted code and it came back on? will change transmission fluid next.....

I think your car has the obd2 code problem, you need a tool to test out the code and delete the code, when my car has this problem, I use this tool to read and delete the code, or may be you can take your car to the suzuki dealer to test your code then they will tell you how to fix.

I had the same issue on my 2013 Edge. Deleted the password expecting it to let me enter a new one. Since the password is unique to vehicle and not able to be deleted I went into the SYNC computer settings and reset to original settings. This takes a minute. The screen goes black. Opening the door or turning key off is not suggested. Resetting the in dash computer(sync) is the fix for deleting the original door key code.

The factoty code is found in the trunk on the right side lift support. The factory code can never be deleted. To reset and delete any added codes, key in the 5 digit factory code. Within 5 seconds press the 1/2 button. Within 5 seconds again press the 1/2 button again. All previously added codes are delete. To add your own code, key in the 5 digit factory code. Within 5 seconds press te 1/2 button. Within 5 seconds again enter your personal 5 digit code. Note that when you complete these steps, the doors will lock then unlock meaning that the command to add or delete a code is complete. You can add 5 different codes in the memory, but when you complete the delete command, it deletes all added codes but never the factory code.

If you havent hooked a dagnostic machine up to it you need to and write down the code. any automotive place can tell you what the code means. if you have fixed the problem the code simply needs to be deleted, any automotie place can delete it for you, but reading and deleting abs codes requires an abs diagnostic tool only, A normal diagnostic tool will not work.
