SOURCE: fix a stuck back seat seat belt 2006 mitsubishi

Most often the cause for the rear belts getting stuck is not an actual bad belt mechanism, but the belt simply getting folded over and retracted that way.

Try pulling the belt out as far as you can and inspect for the belt being folded. If this is the case, slowly work it back and forth trying to unfold it. It will take a while sometimes.

SOURCE: vibration felt in front floorboard

Yes it can but the dealer would have found it on the test drive if they test drove the vehicle. The only other causes for the vibration I can think of should have been found on inspection as well. Check your bushings and mounts for the sway bar and your tie rod ends as well.

I have a 2015 Mitsubishi Shogun. The battery was flat so had to be jump started.since then the seat belt warning light and chime won't go off even when the seat belt is fastened. please help!!

In seat belt there's a sensor that tells when seat belt is buckled. The sensor isn't registering that belt is buckled. Have belt system checked out by dealership should be still under warranty. Don't think it's connected to battery problem

How do i disconnect seatbelt chime mitsubishi mirage

On many cars, the seat belt sensor is also used to trigger the airbag. Investigate whether this is the case on your car before doing anything drastic to your seat belt alarm.Locate the wire under the driver seat that connects to the buckle with the release button. It should be towards the rear on the right hand side, where you plug the belt into.Follow the wire to an area under the seat where you will be able to fit your hands into.Look for two wires running together. Cut through both of them and slightly separate the ends apart.Use electrical tape to cover the wire ends so they do not short out on each other or metal under the seat.Tuck the wires away from the seat brackets so they do not get tangled if you move your seat.OR>>>>

On the side of the receptacle (where you would slide the buckle into) are two non-tamper torx screws.
Remove the screws using a hollow T10 bit.Carefully remove the plastic side cover. It contains a spring loaded slide switch.Remove the small spring and slide the switch down to its lowermost position. You can double check by watching the seat belt light on the dash go out.Replace the plastic cover and screws.Store the small spring for use in the future. This way the system thinks the buckle is always in so the light and chime won't alert at all.

I had the bank and o2 sensors changed and disconnected the battery but engine and seat belt lights are still on. Why??

And the seat belt warning light and the check engine light are two different systems. The seat belt light means one of the seat belts is not fastened if someone is sitting in the seat, or the sensor for that seat has failed.

My SRS light is on continously. where do i go on

It's detecting that there's an issue with your air bags. I wouldn't recommend working on your air bag system unless you know absolutely what you're doing as you can accidentally set them off or cause them to not work at all

Srs light is on and lock seat belt, the car is a 2001 mirage,we bought it like that how do we fix it or where do we go.

Not to scare you, but having your airbag light on is usually a computer problem, and there have been cases of the airbag deploying for no good cause. I don't think you need a computer, but someone will have to hook up to your vehicle with a computer, and scan it. Also do a carfax check on that vin number. If the seat belt is locked, and the airbag (SRS) light is on, it sounds like the vehicle has been in an accident. I hope all goes well, and by all means, if any new info comes up, I would like to hear. Thanks.
