SOURCE: 92 Nissan Pathfinder brake lights stuck on

Change the brake light switch on the brake pedal arm. Go down to the parts store and ask for a new brake liight switch for your Pathfinder and look up under the dash where the brake pedal arm goes and you will see the switch. You will need to unplug the wires to your old one and disconnect it and install the new one the same way. It is pretty much self adjusting once the brake pedal is released. If the brake light does not go out adjust the switch pin to be longer so it will depress when the pedal is released

SOURCE: hand brake nissan pathfinder

If you lift the hand brake you should find an adjustment nut (I think it is 10MM). Tighten that and you should be good to go. Be careful, it doesn't take much to adjust - turn gradually/slowly.

i hope i was able to help you with your problem! tc!

SOURCE: How to change a starter motor 92 nissan pathfinder

  • Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  • Remove the splash gaurd.
  • It has to be removed from underneath the car so jacking up the front end is a good idea as it gives you more room to work.
  • It's located on the passenger side, right next to the catalytic converter.
  • You need to disconnect the plug and bolted on lead going to the starter. Just squeeze the plug and wiggle it out.
  • You will see how it locks onto the starter.
  • The other lead is just a nut. Now take out the two bolts holding the starter on.
  • The top bolt is easy.
  • The bottom bolt has a transmission line running right over top of it and you have to use a wrench making quarter turns to loosen it.
  • It's tight but the starter will slide out between the catalytic converter and the front differential.

SOURCE: I have a 92 Nissan pathfinder manual 4x4. Where

All Nissan have the fuel pump relay near de ECU. But you must hear when starting working, and falow the click. The ECU is mounted under the pasanger seat.
About the Gauges, in the circuit of the front panel, it have a transistor that suply more or less 8volts to the gauges (gas and temp). Is possibly broken. You must replace it. But first, clean it with a contact cleaner; if the problem continue, replace it. Good Luck.
