SOURCE: removing starter from toyota corolla 1998

No. Removal of the intake manifold is not an attractive option.
...That will cost you more time and money in the long run.
You will need to replace the intake manifold gasket, and several others.

SOURCE: water leak under the intake manifold,1995 toyota 4 runner

There is a heater core bypass pipe that runs from the block (under the manifold) to the bacl of theengine where you will see a flat rectangular "sheet metal" thing with a pipe coming out of it. The a rubber hose connects. You need to pull the top air plenums and intake to get to it. The p[ipe flange bolts to the block with silicone rtv as a sealant.

Where is the intake manifold on a 2000 toyota avalon

There's two intake manifolds on the engine. 1 for every 3 cylinders of the engine. You can see that there are 3 exhaust tubes that flow into one pipe on each side of the engine. The two pipes are where you have 02 sensors. See pic attached , Bank 1 sensor 1, bank 2 sensor 130a9a07c-6337-4b2d-aac5-fbacd3c57455.jpg 5f722f0b-c181-4c00-bcb5-e8fce99ce1b7.jpg

How do you take off the intake manifold on a 1995 Toyota Avalon

Very Carefully....But really...go to the local auto parts store and buy the Haynes manual for your car. Read the section on engine disassembly 3 times and then start removing parts. This all assumes you have the tools to do the job. If you do then get to it if not try Craigs list for an inexpensive mechanic. Good Luck.....SMP

Location knock sensors 2000 toyota avalon xls 3.0 location

they are located under the intake manifold in the center of the engine. One is towards the front and one is towards the rear. The intake plenum and intake manifold will need to be removed in order to service the knock sensors. More commonly the harness fails.

PRICE FOR SENSOR # PO171 FOR AVLON TOYOTA 2000

Hello. Welcome to FixYa.

Before you replace the Mass Air Flow sensor, try removing it, and cleaning it with commercially available 'brake cleaner', which comes in a spray can.

Normally, a dirty air filter will allow sub-micron sized particles to pass thru, and congregate on the MAF. This changes the air flow readings. The MAF is located in the tube between the air filter box and the intake manifold. Unplug the wire connecor, remove the sensor, spray it until it is clean inside (do not use compressed air; that will damage it), and the reinstall it. After a short drive, the computer should start reading the correct air flow values.

If yu wanted to buy one, you can spend about 250.00.

Toyota Avalon 2000

You need to pull off the entire intake manifold/plenum assembly. The knock sensor is bolted to the inside of the cylinder block, it is in the middle of the culinder block.
