HI,AS IT IS HARD TO START THESE EXTRA COLD MORNINGS WE ARE GETTING,TRY A SET OF GLOW PLUGS, YOU CAN SEE THEM ACROSS THE FRONT OF THE CYLINDER HEAD,WITH A WIRE JOINING THEM UP,YOU WILL NEED A 8mm SCOKET , FOR THE WIRE, AND A DEEP 12mm ONE FOR THE PLUGS,UNSCREW TO THE LEFT,AND PUT A BIT OF GREASE ON THE THREAD OF THE NEW ONES AS THEY CROSS TREAD EASY,ABOUT 17POUNDS FOR A SET,THANKS.

SOURCE: Peugeot Partner Fuel Pump Problem.

If that connection is leaking, then that is more than likely the problem. If fuel is leaking out, then air will leak in. When the van is left overnight, the fuel will run back down the fuel line to the tank, leaving air in the pipe. The fuel system must be completely air tight. Try slapping some grease around the connection and see if it starts in the morning. if it does then replace the connector and you have fixed the problem.

I have a 1999 Nissan frontier 2.4 5 speed transmission it will only go in first and second gear will not go into 3rd 4th or 5th or reverse clutch seems fine what's the problem

Hello. It seems the 'shift fork' is either 'misaligned' and/or 'bent' in 3rd, 4th, 5th and REVERSE. It's, also, possible those gears are 'stripped' on their shaft(s); making driving that truck, in those gears, impossible. Good luck and keep me informed; if you want to.

Problems selecting 1st gear peugeot 106 1.1 zest

If the clutch is a problem you will have difficulty selecting 1st only as the gears would be spinning from the engine revs.. I would say that the front input shaft (clutch shaft) bearing is failing allowing miss alignment of the synchros and not allowing proper engagement of the gears synchro rings. It means removal and repair to the gear box so the clutch can be inspected while the box is out.

Lost gears

I have the same problem with my 2001 volkswagen cabrio, but I know the solution.
You need a new clutch, or it will continue to slip.
If you cannot afford the clutch. You can "baby" the clutch by easing the clutch out, and eventually it will catch. (It should catch in a second or two.)

Gearbox

sounds like the synchronizers in the trans are starting to fail ask her it it has become harder to shift between certain gears (i.e. 1st-2nd, 2nd-3rd, 3rd-4th, or 4th-5th) does the clutch slip at all or does the clutch pedal feel different? if its a hydrolic clutch (almost if not all newer cars have hydrolic clutches) the clutch master cylinder may be low it looks like a small brake master cylinder (the clutch master cylinder is generaly round) and usualy is located directly under it, next to it or offset to the right OR left and located under the brake master cylinder the clutch will usualy take DOT 3 brake fluid or hydrolic clutch fluid it will tell you what type it takes right on the cap

if it isn't low on fliud and the clutch isn't slipping or not releasing/ engaging properly, its time for a new or rebuilt trans
