HI,AS IT IS HARD TO START THESE EXTRA COLD MORNINGS WE ARE GETTING,TRY A SET OF GLOW PLUGS, YOU CAN SEE THEM ACROSS THE FRONT OF THE CYLINDER HEAD,WITH A WIRE JOINING THEM UP,YOU WILL NEED A 8mm SCOKET , FOR THE WIRE, AND A DEEP 12mm ONE FOR THE PLUGS,UNSCREW TO THE LEFT,AND PUT A BIT OF GREASE ON THE THREAD OF THE NEW ONES AS THEY CROSS TREAD EASY,ABOUT 17POUNDS FOR A SET,THANKS.

If that connection is leaking, then that is more than likely the problem. If fuel is leaking out, then air will leak in. When the van is left overnight, the fuel will run back down the fuel line to the tank, leaving air in the pipe. The fuel system must be completely air tight. Try slapping some grease around the connection and see if it starts in the morning. if it does then replace the connector and you have fixed the problem.

SOURCE: need instructions on how to fit auto adjusting peugeot 206
cant honestly say i have fitted one on this model, but is it full auto or is their an adjuster on the back of the clutch pedal.??? look first.Ford escort one is a bit of a pig but easy when you have the knack same as a golf easy when you know how .Now golf cable comes with two plastic ties that hold auto adjuster together and you dont relaese them till the cable is fitted. Can you describe the set up then i might be able to help some more.American web site so a lot of models not listed here and the lingo take a bit as well ,i mean whos ever heard of pigs tails or fire wires.Well what else can you expect when they are not taught the queens english and dont drink tea, just waste it by throwing it in the sea.

The XU engines have problems with clutches. Most of them wear out under 65000 miles.

1) CHECK THE ADJUSTMENT OF THE CLUTCH PEDAL, CHECK ITS FREE PLY.
2)ALSO THIS CAN HAPPEN IF ENGINE, GEAR BOX OR SELECTOR SHAFT SEAL IS LEAKING
3)PEUGEOT OFFERS A WARRANTY OF 1 YEAR FOR THE PARTS FITTED. EVENTHOUGH THE WEAR & TEAR PARTS ARE EXCLUDED, IF YOU HAVE FIXED GOT IT FIXED EARLIER WITH IN THE PEUGEOT NETWORK & IT REALLY IS THE DEFECT OF THE PART, YOU STILL HAVE A CHANCE.
