The Cherokee doesn't have a body control module however the Grand Cherokee does. It is behind the kneeblocker trim panel under the steering column directly in front of the drivers left knee.

SOURCE: 2000 jeep grand cherokee gauge cluster is working

If it's just the Temp/ Fuel gauge,,, my money is on the instrument voltage regulator. (it governs the voltage to these gauges regardless of the incline (up/down for the fuel gauge) or the battery voltage 12.5 - 13.8 . Other than these it may be an earth connection problen (long shot) because the instrument panel relies on many many signal imputs. !

I have a 05 dodge durango and my gauges are jumping up and down so i replaced the cluster and still have the same problem. Im out of things to check so any ideas would be great

Take it to a qualified repair shop that has a professional type scan tool that can check code's stored in the instrument cluster an the BCM - body control module . You have no idea of the complexity of the electronics on that vehicle . Or could be the TIPM - totally integrated power module . Chrysler , dodge an Jeep have a recall on some model vehicles .
The instrument cluster gauges get their data over the C.A.N serial data network from the PCM - engine computer or the TIPM or the BCM . Do you know what C.A.N data buss is . Controller Area Network CAN Overview

Why do the gauges still not work but now the gauge lights work after changing the instrument cluster

not 100 % sure but some of the gauges on the mini vans go through body module. scan it and see if there any codes logged before you change anything else.

Instrument cluster gauges

Check engine light ,abs , air bag lights etc.... come on when key turned on ?
Fuse IPC/HVAC BATT 10 amp located in the left IP junction block . Do you know where this junction box is ?
Does the heater an A/C work ? If so the fuse isn't the problem .
Speedometer
The speedometer is a road indicator. The vehicle speed sensor (VSS) is a permanent magnet generator which is located on the transaxle. The VSS sends an input to the PCM whenever the transaxle differential carrier turns. The PCM then buffers the VSS signal. The PCM transmits the VSS signal to the following components at 4000 pulses/mile through CKT 817:
• The instrument cluster
• The cruise control module
• The radio (uplevel)
The instrument cluster uses the input in order to indicate the vehicle speed on the speedometer.
Instrument Cluster Indicators
The BCM controls the instrument cluster indicators through the SPI serial data communication bus. Refer to Body Control Module System Check in Body Control System.

I have a 2003 plymouth voyager p0700-p0755,came up have no curent to speed senser-check eng.light, blinker's or insterment cluster

If you are saying the instrument cluster is not working correctly, you need to check the fuse and the power circuit to the cluster.
Looking at the wiring diagram, I don't see any power going to the speed sensor, so I think it generates its own signal back to the trans control module.
The trans control module gets power from a trans control relay and a 20amp fuse.

Where is BCM located on 2002 PT Cruiser locks working even when car is not on have been told to check BCM don't know where to find it

I don't find a body control module for your car, but according to the wiring diagram the door locks are controlled by a keyless entry module which is located on top of the dash behind the ac vents.
There are three fuses that power the module.
Check with your dealer for more details.

Changing dashboard light

Hi,

This solution will be of great help to you,even in the case of future or other dashboard problems;
Instrument cluster consists of electronic analog gauges, various warning lights, and optional tachometer. Vehicles equipped with tachometer have an electronic vacuum fluorescent transmission range indicator (PRND3L),odometer and trip odometer display. Vehicles without tachometer are equipped with a cable-operated transmission range indicator.
Instrument cluster is equipped with the following warning lights:
Battery voltage.
Cruise (speed control).
Door ajar.
Fasten seat belt.
Lift gate ajar.
Low fuel level.
Low windshield and washer level.
Traction Control.
The Body Control Module (BCM), which receives input from various sensors, sends display information to instrument cluster and operates gauges. Instrument cluster incorporates a self-test diagnostic feature to identify electronic problems. BCM, Powertrain Control Module (PCM), and Transmission Control Module (TCM) are continuously monitored by the diagnostic system.

SELF-DIAGNOSTICS
With ignition off, press and hold TRIP and RESET buttons while turning ignition switch to ON position. Continue to hold TRIP and RESET buttons until odometer window displays CODE (approximately 5 seconds). If problem exists, system will display diagnostic trouble codes. See DIAGNOSTIC CODE CHART table. If no problem exists, Code 999 (end test) will be displayed.
DIAGNOSTIC CODE CHART
CodeDescription
110.......Cluster Memory Fault
111.......Cluster Calibration Fault
905.......No CCD Bus Message From TCM
921.......Odometer Fault From BCM
940.......No CCD Bus Message From PCM

After diagnostic code display ends, instrument cluster will go into each of the following tests in order:
Dim test.
Calibration test.
Odometer segment test.
Electronic Transmission Range indicator segment test.
Dim Test
CHEC-0 will be displayed in odometer window. Instrument cluster will dim Vacuum Florescent (VF) display. If VF displays do not dim, a problem in instrument cluster exists. See BODY CONTROL COMPUTER TESTS in BODY CONTROL COMPUTER article.
Calibration Test
CHEC-1 will be displayed in odometer window. Each of instrument cluster gauges will move sequentially through each calibration point. See GAUGE CALIBRATIONS table. If gauge needle is not calibrated properly, a problem in instrument cluster exists.

Odometer Segment Test
CHEC-2 will be displayed in odometer window. Each segment of odometer will light sequentially. If any segment does not light, replace instrument cluster.
Electronic Transmission Range Indicator Segment Test
CHEC-3 will be displayed in odometer window. Each segment of electronic transmission range indicator will light sequentially. If any segment does not light, replace instrument cluster.

Changing the fuel filter

Solve The body control module on this vehicle controls the gauges, radio, door locks, windows and wipers.... (More) The body control module on this vehicle controls the gauges, radio, door locks, windows and wipers. When this module goes out all sorts of crazy things happen to the car. The module is located inside the car behind the fuse panel. I have had this module go out on three caravans and it is very expensive to replace. Chrysler is aware of this problem. A mechanic told me that they were going to issue a recall but it did not impose a serious enough safety threat. _SetupBidi('source'); The fuel filter is on top of the fuel tank is visible and brings with her 3 hose couplings
