Horn won't work

Sounds like the problem is in the horn pad if it works with the alarm.

What's your problem? The horn won't work, the light that is supposed to go on when you open the doors won't work, the cigarette lighter won't work, and the head unit won't work

on 1987 all you mentioned are on same fuse #11 located in fuse box below steering wheel 3rd row 3rd fuse from left next to either a blank space if you do not have power windows,or next to silver circuit breaker if you do have power windows.

Disconnecting horn

You can unplug the connector on the horn. The horn is located behind the front bumper cover on the right side of the car.

My horn won't work. I've replaced the fuse and the relay. The steering wheel clicks. So what do I do next?

if the steering wheel clicks when you push on the horn then the wiring from the horn pad out to the horn is good.if it clicked before you replaced the parts then you didn`t have to replace them.check the horn at the horn, with someone pushing on the horn pad tap the horn to see if it will try to work if so then the horn needs to be replaced if not then run a power wire from the battery positive to the connector at the horn if the horn works again the horn needs replacing.

Horn does not work in my 1998 escort, here clicking under the dashboard when horn is on. Is this possibly the horn relay switch issue?

If it's clicking then more likely the relay is OK and the horn is dead.

Try a pair of wires from the battery and directly onto the horn. Either the horn won't work, demonstrating that it is faulty, or it WILL work, demonstrating that the relay is faulty

Horn wont work.i check the fuse in the door and

Maybe horn became unplugged. Put 12 v power to horn make sure horn works. Put test light on terminal on horn have someone press the horn button, if light comes on and horn does not blow you may need new horn. if light does not come on you may have bad contact at horn button, blown fuse, broken wire, bad horn relay or possibly just a bad ground.
