SOURCE: 94 Camaro Z28 Missfire & Backfires

I had a similar problem, took it to get diagnosed and was instructed to give them $1100 because of a faulty reading on the distributer, rather than paying $650 for a unit I found plenty available new for under $200 I bought an OEM for $189. Now the labour can be found cheaper elsewhere. I then discovered that the module may also be at fault but I would have to replace the dizzy first, Then discovered that the Air Flow meter {afm} may need to be taken off and cleaned with a carby cleaning spray, this is a do it yourself fix costing you about $8 a can of cleaner
Unscrew the units clamps and disconnect the plug, I can't stress enough, DO NOT touch the fine wires inside, spray the carbon buildup off the inside and blow/air dry, {do not rinse with water.} reinstall the unit in the reverse of which it was removed, Alternativly you may have fuel blockage in the lines, try replacing the fuel filter {cheapest fix}
Hope this helps

SOURCE: how do you drain the gas tank on a 94 Z28 camaro

get a 1/4in or smaller diameter rigid ice machine hose thats the only way youll be able to bypass the polimer X inside the gas tank, so get about 10 ft feed it into the gas tank whille making a loop (not a knot) below the gas tank but have the tip of the hose higher than the gas cap to ensure that you dont get a mouth full of gas then lower the tube into a gas can and watch the car go empty and the gas can fill up

SOURCE: horn not working on 1999 z28 camaro / what could

Remove the horn it's self and try grounding the mount and then put power to the post,if it won't blow try tapping on it.If that does'nt work the try adjusting the screw thats in the rear of the horn to see if you can make it work,if not get a new horn.If the horn blew when you bench tested it then you need to see if you have power to it with a multi meter or a test light,if yes,clean the grounds where it mount both on the car and on the horn mount.If no,then you need to check fo power from the horn button to the relay by useing the test light or multi-meter again and check the relay feed,[#85 or 86 in the relay socket] for power from the horn button.If you have power on either then replace the relay,if not then the horn button is not working and the stearing wheel needs to come off to find out what you need.This replier is assumeing that you have already checked the horn fuse,right?

SOURCE: '94 chevy camaro z28 losing power while driving,

Has this GM tech ran other diagnostics after there first repair procedure went down in flames. At this point, you need to take this vehicle back to them and have someone check this engines performance on a scanner. THAT THEY SHOULD HAVE DONE IN THE FIRST PLACE. You paid them money to do a job, and they failed, so now they owe you. Don't let them push you around either.

Starting and stalling issues in a 94 Z28

you have a egr system problem, most likely an oxy sensor. also check the intake sensors as they will corrode easily when let set without starting for awhile, this is why any mechanic will tell you to start a car daily and let it idle for a few minutes. (if it is a daily driver in your position)
