On my 95 Chevy Suburban, my tail lights and license plate lights won't work. I changed the bulbs and checked the fuses. What's the next step?

you have a fuse box under the hood and in the in side the fuse you are looking for is in the in side that should take care of it if not you have a bad ground

Somtimes the bulbs get a dead short in them even though they look OK. Install new bulbs or remove all bulbs on this circuit and reinstall one at a time to see if fuse pops. I had this problem with signal lights on 95 chevy 1500 and turned out the back up bulbs were on the same circuit. Bad back up bulb so once truck was in reverse it blew the fuse and then the signals did not work. Cheap enough to be worth a shot.

there is none, will have to replace lights, should came on with running or parking lights.

The license plate lights are in the ledge above the license plate. 2 screws keep the lens cover in place. Remove the screws, and the cover comes off. Just pull the lamp out (wedge base) and replace.
