1999 jeep grand cherokee has single fan for cooling will not come on for high tem nor high ac pressure where is the relay located

I had this same pronlem on a 2002 GC. The fan relay is under the left front headlamp assembly. Access can be gained by removing the left front (passenger side) headlamp. I used a Dremel too to cut through the ABS plastic head lamp "bucket" to get access tot he relay. I followed a video like the one below since directions were difficult to locate. If you do not own a Dremel, borrow one or buy it. The price will be worth it, even if you never use it again.

Fan resistor

I had the same issue on my 1999 Grand Cherokee. I replaced the fan motor which was only 68.00 from Auto Zone and the fan relay sensor which is located behind the front left side of the bumper, which was about 30.00 from Autozone. I would suggest testing the motor with the 12V (fused). You can test it with your car battery, if it works, then i would suggest replacing your fan motor sensor, behind the front left side of the bumper.
