How to fix a problem with a heat control vent that only blows warm air; no cool air comes from the vent or the A/C. the car has only 1 set of heat/cold controls that you can move manually right or left. But no matter if you turn it to the cold side, it only blows warm air. A/C control doesn't work. All of the lights for the heater/AC used to flash on and off all the time; now they don't work. Do we need to replace heat control module or something else? Thanks,

Sounds exactly like what my mom's car was doing as for the blower only working on high. It was the resistor... I assumed it was the climate controls and replaced them but it didn't change anything then i thought that i must be the blower motor and replaced that too but it turned out to be the resistor which is under the dash on the passenger side of the car.

U have a AC refrigerant leak, that is why it worked for a week after the system was topped off, now it has leaked out again.

possible blend air door stuck,or heater control assembly faulty

sounds like the thermostat has a problem and needs to be replaced. The thermostat regulates temp and it defective can either stay closed or stay open and I reckon in your case it has stuck open permanently.
Your manual should show you where the thermostat is located.

One of two probable problems:
1. The Heater / Air Condition Control is going bad or is bad.
a. Disconnect the negative side of the battery.
b. Remove the Heater / AC face plate off the front. To do this: Remove the two (2) screws on the top lip of the plate.
c. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the rear of the Control Module.
OR
2. The Heater Core is defective and needs to be replaced.
Sorry, but it has to be noted that the dealer or repair shop ($$) can diagnose the system at the Heater / AC Control Module. Also, after you replace this Module: a diagnostic and re-calibration tests are needed to be performed.
