When you bench it, the is no toque applied to the motor. That's why it works. There is a built in heat sink in them. Gets hot, cuts off. It takes more torque to push it up. Replace it. Might want to replace the regulator also.
Check the wiper fuse...if functional you will have to remove, and replace the passenger side arm starting in the down position...be sure to turn off the wipers before turning off your car...hope this helps.
Most likely faulty drivers window switch/box. One works one doesn't says there's nothing wrong with the window or wiring. If it's an older car you'd need a new switch cluster, if a newer car could also be a faulty body control module - that would need to be checked by a mechanic.
You have to check all associated fuses and relays then check power at the blower motor resistor located under the hood on the passengers side on the heater a/c plenum against the firewall under the rear coolant hose going into the back of intake. ..do the tap test and see if blower cones on
Motor is not turning in second direction to lower window. Either the new motor is defective or the device that reverses the electricity to the motor is defective. Regulator?
Take motor out and feed it juice - will turn. Reverse polarity and it should turn in other direction.
Can you hear the moter or do interior lights dim when pressing button? If so remove door panel and lubricate tracks and rolers using lithium grease lube only the tracks that do not come in contact with glass.
Check the connections at the switch and at the moter with a volt meter if there is power than time for a new moter. no power than check at drivers side switch. If no power there and fuse is ok you have a open in wires and will have to trace entire circut
