SOURCE: Air conditioning not cool

The charging port is in the larger of the 2 AC lines from the AC compressor on the engine, it will be near to or in the round cannister (called an Accumulator) that larger AC line goes near the firewall at the back of the engine bay.

SOURCE: how to trouble shoot air condition compresuer

You really want to troubleshoot your AC. Here are some items to follow:
1- Make sure your Compressor clutch work first. You can jump the wire to test it when the engine is off.
When you know the clutch work then you can look for the other things not makeing it activated.
2- It it doesn't work then you know the problem right there.
3- If it works then check the Low and high pressure according to compressor spec.
3- Check your engine temperature sensor. Don't think that your temp reading gauge is coorect then your engine temperature for your AC is working.
4- Check your compressor sensor speed. It has to be in sych with your crankshaft sensor before it allows the clutch engaged to prevent burning your compressor when it is locked up is in freezing mode ( ex.in case some clever people jumping wire to control the clutch bypassing all other rerquirement).
5- If you think these items need to be addressed by professional better then do-it yourself then I have no objection. Good luck on trying.

SOURCE: 2003 Chevy trailblazer, the 4 front dash air

{: ) Check first the fuse labeled HVAC1 10A at the rear fuseblock. If okay, the mode actuator could be faulty. You can try this: turn ignition switch and a/c off for a minute. Then turn ignition on, wait forty seconds. Afterwards, start the engine, and check your a/c again.

SOURCE: trying to locate the low side of the air

Hello, here is the good news, in the R134A systems cars use today and since it was made a requirement they made the high and low side connections different sizes. There are two, normally aluminum lines, that run from the compressor and cooling grills by the radiator. The high side typically runs in the larger of these two lines. If both caps are the same color it is easy to identify the low side as that coupling that comes with the refill systems available to the public will only fit the low side. This is a safety feature they actually thought about this time. I recommend purchasing the refill system that comes with the Gauge and coupling already attached. They go by various names depending on where you purchase them. as far as cost is concerned it is a toss up between Walmart and Auto Zone as to which is cheaper in cost. The larger can will cost a little more but is typically a better buy. I say this because the usual reason for doing a refill is a very small leak on a gasket or seal and the larger cans have ingredients that help seal these and improve performance of the system. The directions for use and the readings you should see on the gauge are usually on the can as well. Do not waste your time trying to refill the system if the temperature is over 90 degrees outside as this will give you problems. Do the job in the early morning or late evening after it has cooled. Good Luck

Anyone know the freon capacity for a 2013 Toyota Highlander(Base Model) V6

The freon capacity for a 2013 Toyota Highlander with a V6 engine will depend on the type of refrigerant that the vehicle uses. The base model of the 2013 Toyota Highlander typically uses either R-134a or R-1234yf refrigerant. If your vehicle uses R-134a, the freon capacity is approximately 21.7 ounces or 630 grams. If your vehicle uses R-1234yf, the freon capacity is approximately 22.5 ounces or 640 grams. It is important to use the correct type and amount of refrigerant in your vehicle's air conditioning system to ensure that it functions properly. If you are unsure which type of refrigerant your vehicle uses or how much is required, it is recommended that you consult a Toyota dealership or a professional mechanic for assistance.

How many Freon cans should it take for a 2000 Chevy Venture and which one does it take

It uses r-134a Freon and the capacity will depend on if you have rear a/c. There should be a label under the hood that shows a/c capacity that will give you an exact amount but should be around 2 lbs. for just front air and about 2.8 lbs. for front and rear.

What is the freon capacity on a John Deere 6415 air conditioning system

If the system is still R-12, refrigerant capacity is around 4.5 pounds. If it has been converted, you want about 80% of that, or around 3.5 lbs. Charge with a good scale - don't guess

2003 jeep liberty air conditioning oil capacity

If the compressor is dry of oil (new compressors will either be shipped with or without oil) and you need to add oil you can never go wrong by adding three ounces. Once the compressor is installed turn it by hand several times. Then install the belt and add freon.

Air condition blows hot air but it has freon

You may have created an over charged condition and at this point the a/c compressor will cut off on high head pressures. This can be verified by installing gauges to the systems high and low side service taps and reading the pressures. An overcharged system will start the compressor briefly but soon cuts off once pressure goes to 350 - 400 lbs on the high side. Acceptable pressures for this system should be no greater than 250 high and low suction should drop to 40-50 psi.You might recover the charge and evacuate the system, then try bringing the charge back to proper level.A sight glass in the reciever drier really helps determining proper fill.Once all bubbles have dissipated from the sight glass during charging ,one should stop at that point to avoid overfilling.Too much freon is worse than a low charge especially in hot ambient conditions....

Air conditioning

If there is no r-12 or freon in the system it wont come on. Try jumping the pressure switch. It's a 2 wire plug somewhere one the AC lines. Just pull it off and jump the wire end with another wire.If the clutch engages you need freon or R-12.

1996 Chevy Tahoe air conditioning not blowing cold air

That "thing" is part of the compressor clutch. When it’s spinning the clutch is engaged, when it stops the compressor is off. If it’s constantly cycling, you probably don’t have enough freon in the system. But remember, however the gas escaped before, it will escape again, unless you fix the leak.
