Are you talking about insufficient egr flow? Possibly code p0401. it is probably your dpfe sensor .

Try disconnecting the battery for about 20 minutes or so. This could reset the light. If it does not, call the dealer, service department and ask them to tell you how to reset the light.

Sounds like the multifunction switch. Try working the hazard switch up and down a few times to see if you get some lights to work. If so then replace the switch.
