JUST RELEASE THE PRESSURE AT THE FUEL PRESSURE TEST PORT ON THE FUEL SUPPLY RAIL THAT SUPPLIES THE INJECTORS, IT IS A METAL VALVE LIKE A TIRE VALVE, THAT IS THE FACTORY RECOMMENDED METHOD..

The fuel pump should run for a second or two when you first turn the key on, but then shuts down to prevent the engine from flooding if the computer does not get a signal from the crank or cam sensors which the computer uses to trigger the ignition system. So no spark no fuel. Check to see if you have a spark in the ignition system.

it IS poaaable for both pumps to go out at the same time are you getting power through the inertia switch?these also had a problem with the fuel pump plug ins coming loose on top of the tank.should be a TSB (technical service bullitin) on this.

It could be that you have picked up a batch of dirty fuel that has clogged the gauze input filter that is part ot the fuel pump inside the fuel tank.
