If it is a sensor you should have a check engine light on and trouble codes stored in the computer.

I hav a 94 chevy k1500 but it wont stay running. One morning i started it up, got it warm then while i was goin down the road it acted like it was running out of gas, would die then start back up then just...

Turn on the key and listen by the fuel tank for the fuel pump to hum. A common problem is low fuel pressure. It will build pressure when the key is turned, use that fuel, and then the pressure drops. Kind of like when you're using a squirt gun that's getting empty.

Quits running turn it off then back on it will start. this happens goin down the road

Could be electrical. These are a bit hard to determine - especially since it it intermittent. Try to notice if the dash lights (ignition circuit) goes out when this happens. This will tell you whether or not you are losing the ignition circuit.

95 civic wont start

An engine needs 3 things to run: Fuel, compression, ignition.

Maybe the timing belt went out. Take off the dist cap and see if the rotor turns as you crank the engine.

Next run a compression test on all the cylinders.
