George, 2.2L or 3.0L
no engines told and is an engine question.
the accessory belt is the real name and not cam belt right?
the old one fell off , so the path was lost?

Use a ratchet or breaker to release tension and route the new belt as shown here: http://serpentinebelthq.com/2005-ford-freestyle-v6-3-0l-serpentine-belt-diagram/ . The engine in the 2007 is the same as the 2005 shown on the link. Typically this job should take about 15 to 20 minutes at most. It helps, btw, to have a helper to hold that tension off the belt path until the belt is in place, then slowly release the tensioner.
