Dash display not scanned, you for got to say? or how you scanned with what, if did.
A/T is a very expensive and complex beast. no person can guess this. what transmission which engine? they are a match.
V6 gas and Diesel for 2006 are the 2 options and 2wd and 4wd.
we need the tranny name. RFE name.
700 vary be year and tranny.
there are 2 issues, here, the sensor reads wrong because the sensor is bad (or contaminated) or the tranny slip.s
testing solves this, issue.

the tech reads the FSM for your car, then sees which tests are first
for P0700.
you never said the problem, (driving)
some jeeps have 2 transmission options, even 2wd.
gas or diesel, another transmission.

ill tell you what the FSM says. about 700
it means that there are factory DTC codes , 700 is just a flag
IM SICK SCAN me with a REAL scan too. for JEEPs.
i use innova 3160, that sees all jeep codes.
here is the quote.
"This is an informational DTC letting you know that a DTC(s) is stored in the Transmission Control Module."
that V0002 is wrong, its "U" uniform code. not V.
U0002-CAN C Bus Off Performance this is communications error on the CANBUS.
"A module detects a short in either CAN C Bus circuit."

That bus is a NEWORK link.
the master on the bus sends command for many things.
and if the command is IGNORED< BAM, and error.
it means
1: command not received by X
2: or command never was acknowledged from X.

sounds like you need to get this jeep serviced.
id reset them all and pray it dont come back. (oldest story on earth)

You need to take the jeep to a dealer or a good mechanic who can retreive the codes out of the computer. You may have a module problem but I will not guess without knowing the codes.

p0700 is pretty much the generic code for saying the computer that controls your transmission has a problem, it may not be the actual computer its self, but one of its sensores, or a bad wire, i would recomend taking it to a reputable transmission shop

Those are transmission codes. P0700 is to alert you to the fact the transmission has a fault code stored, the P0725 is the fault that has occurred. Follow the link for info on P0725

P0700 2006 Jeep Liberty

P0700 is a Transmission code which is usually followed by a second code. You can start by checking your transmission fluid level. Also double check to see if you have another code besides the P0700.

Fault codes p0700

P0700 is a generic transmission fault code. It only means that you have to take it to a shop, so that they can read the fault code with a scanner in the transmission controller.

Does not go into overdrive and RPM go to 3000 or greater past 40 mph

Either computer is acting up, or transmission is (or transmission sensors) get a code reader and check codes. You may have to go to a place that can check codes for the transmission.

The transmission seems to hesitate or slip at 35/40 mph before shifting?

Common on the Jeep Liberty, make sure you do a trans. service and use the proper transmission fluid.
