SOURCE: broken sun visor

On the plastic cover take a small screw driver and pry one of the open ends, in other words if you look at the cover carefully it is shaped like a U, pry on the top right side of the U to un-snap then rotate or twist the cover to remove. Then you can get to the screws that hold it into place/

SOURCE: sun visor replacement

You unscrew the two bolts and gently take the visor off the mount. There will be a wire attached that has a plastic male/female connection that can be pulled apart. Do this gently. The wire is the power connection for the vanity light located within the visor.

SOURCE: My sun visor on driver's side is broken. What

Bad design cheap plastic is the cause. I fixed mine by making a plate bracket in my garage out of 1/4 aluminum cut and shaped to size using a template. Drilled 5/16" hole in middle for visor stem to fit into. Cut off very end of visor stem then tapped stem tubing hole ID 8x1.25 m for bolt and washer to secure to the plate I made. Works great! Took about 2 hours total.
