SOURCE: i have a 1993 chevy

check for injection pulses at the injectors.
Each injector has two wires, one is a supply (12Volt) and the other is grounded by the engine management unit. The switching is very fast so you would not detect it with a test light. Try a multimeter set to frequency. If you check the supply to the injectors, disconnect ALL of them at once. You should have power to only one wire at each injector plug. If no power is present, check the fuel system relays and fuses.

"TPS" stands for Throttle Position Sensor. It is located in the same place that all TPS sensors are located - on the throttle body.

Why am I not getting fuel threw the injector fuel pump is pumping

The diagram is for fuel injectors, the top wire is voltage, goes hot with the key on, any voltage? The bottom wire from injector is ground, controlled by computer. If no ground have to check for rpm signal. Engine cranking, you have spark at the plugs and proper fuel pressure?

I have a 1993 chevy lumina with the 3.1, it has 200k+ miles and the motor is missing really bad, it just runs like it has a bad plug but thats not it.. Any suggestions?

200000 MILES ON ENGINE COULD BE LOW COMPRESSION CYLINDERS OR INTAKE LEAKS. BUT FIRST.IF SPARK PLUGS AND WIRES OKAY.REPLACE FUEL FILTER AND CLEAN FUEL INJECTORS.CHECK FUEL PRESSURE SHOULD BE 41 - 47 PSI.

My 1993 chevy luminagets lousy gas mileage, when it runs you smell

. If you are in the car driving and smell fuel, chances are the leak in FRONT of you under the hood, probably being drawn in, by the heater or a/c. Open the hood and look for WETNESS. Don't see or smell it. Get UNDER the car ( safely ). Look around at the fuel lines. You'll find if you look. Hope this helps
