1993 chevy lumina 3.1 pumping too much fuel to intake throtle body

i had th same problem and what fixed my problem was the regulator

If you didn`t replace the fuel filter you should do this.Make sure the catalytic converter is not plugged.Also make sure plugs and wires are good and air filter is not plugged either.Hope this helps.Good luck.

Support the car very securely first of all

Remove the negative cable from the battery

Remove the wires from the starter

Remove the two bolts from the starter going upward to the engine block

Wiggle the starter out

Reverse this proceedure to reinstall

you have a fuel pump relay that may be defective, or fuel pump or maybe the crank position sensor,a cam position sensor.the best thing is to have a scan performed with an obd1 scanner and you will know where to start the repair.
