Your vehicle does show security system, I looked at wiring diagram. The horn is involved.
What kind of problem do you have? My forte isn't security systems, but, I do have wiring diagrams.

Doesn't have a relay for the fuel pump . Uses Fuel pump driver module (electronic control module ) Electronic returnless fuel system .
Viewing a wiring diagram would show this . Free wiring diagrams here http://www.bbbind.com/free-tsb Enter vehicle info year , make , model etc... under system click on engine , then under subsystem click on fuel controls . Click the search button , then the blue link . Scroll down to diagram #11 .

I found it! Huge database of free wiring diagrams.
Go to BBB Industries. On their home page, click on "technical Information". On that page click on "Technical Service Bulletins and Wiring Diagrams". then submit required information (just name and email) and agree to end user license agreement (a formality-there are free wiring diagrams!)
On next page you will be at TSB's and Wiring Diagrams. Click on Wiring Diagrams, and then submit vehicle info (year, make, and model -1997 ford escort), the engine size is already given. Now you will see a box labeled "system". Click on that and click on "Electrical Distribution". The next box is described as "subsystem" and when you click it, of the three choices, choose "Fuse Panel"

next line will show : "2 diagrams found". then click the "search" button and next page will show reference to both diagrams. What I do here is right click the first address and pick "open in new tab". And Do that also for the second address, this way you don't have to keep going back and type in the vehicle information again.

The first page will show the engine compartment fuse box, and the second page will show the Instrument Panel fuse panel-all descriptions and their locations.

This may sound complicated, but it really is not. Once you are on the search page (the Technical Info. page) , click Wiring Diagrams, 1997, Ford, Escort, (system) Electrical Distribution, (subsystem) Fuse Panel. Then click "search" button to see the two diagrams.

Go to http://bbbind.com/free_tsb.html free diagrams ! Enter your vehicle info. year , make model an engine ! Then under system click on electrical distribution ,next under sub system click on fuse panel ! This will show three diagrams found ,click on search an three links will pop up .Click on them one at a time .Do you know your vehicle has two fuse panels ! Plus a couple of Aux. relay box's

Next page go to bottom of page an click on I agree . Next page click wiring diagrams an enter your vehicle info . Under system click power distribution , subsystem click fuse panel . From the drop-down list of systems, choose "interior and driver amenity", then subsystem under that, will be horn. Click on "search" and it will show you that diagram. You can access every system's wiring diagram for your vehicle.

Usally its a yellow wire.

An electrical diagram is a schematic of the electrical system, it shows what system and wiring is connected to whatever else. It won't show the car itself, just the wiring system and each component that wiring is attached to. If you go to autozone . com and register for free, then login to your account, the choose your car, then click on view repair manual, then you have a free repair manual which also includes free electrical diagram schematics.

Hlem inc sells these. Wiring diagram (EVTM) will show wiring circuits and shop manual will give descrption and remove & replace steps.
