Under the glove box beneath the dash the resistor should be screwed into the heater housing.

SOURCE: 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Keeps stalling, engine

P0505 means the whole Idle Control system, not only the IAM. Check all related sensors (i.e. crankshaft sensor). Check with a voltmeter direct at the connector of the IAM if you get any signal. Remove the IAM from the TB, connect him, let someone switch your ignition key to ON. The IAM need to drive in/out for a short time to find the right position. Hold the IAM near a hard part, that they cant drive out completely! If IAM works fine, check the fuel pressure, check and clean your TB ( if not done yet). If that doesn't work, come back again please

SOURCE: Where is the ABS module located on a 2004 Jeep

Hi,

The ABS module is located on the drivers side inner wheel well (under the hood) and mounted vertically. The black electrical connector has a silver clasp on it you have lift the silver clasp and pull the connector off the module.

Thank you !!

1994 jeep Grand Cherokee timing marks to be set

Hi there,

Not quite sure of your question....

From 1987 onwards, the timing on Jeeps is controlled by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and is not adjustable.

If you have a more specific question relating to camshaft sprocket alighment or timing belts, please re-post your question for an Expert to answer.

1996 Jeep Cherokke 5.2 grand laredo, missing on acceleration found loose distributer need to set timing.

Base (initial) ignition timing is NOT adjustable. Do not attempt to adjust ignition timing by rotating the distributor. All ignition timing functions are controlled by the Powertrain Control Module.Adjusting the timing on a Jeep Grand Cherokee requires special tools and an understanding of engine mechanics. Changing the timing on a Jeep Grand Cherokee with distributor-less ignition requires professional reprogramming of the powertrain control module. This guide covers Jeep Grand Cherokee models with distributed ignition only. you can go to this site and it will explain it. www.ehow.com/how_4521340_adjust-timing-jeep have a good day !!

Cruise control accelerates after setting it

Most likely due to a problem with the PCM (Powertrain Control Module). You can try disconnecting (for about a minute) and reconnecting your battery which may reset this system and fix the problem. If not, you can bring your vehicle into the dealer, they will perform a diagnostics test for about $95 that will determine what the problem is. If it ends up being the PCM, it is covered under warranty for 8 years 80,000 miles.

Hope this helps.
