I have a Suzuki Also year 05 and heater suddenly stopped working and makes no noise. Can you help

As in the blower motor isn't blowing? There are not too many parts of the circuit. You have a fuse, a switch, a resistor, and the motor. Start with the fuse and work your way along the circuit until you find a problem.

98 Mazda Protege 1.5L engine has a new battery, new crankshaft sensor, spark plugs and wires. Fuel line and pump all good. Cranking but won't start. Makes a whirring noise.

Whirring noise is usually the pump or sometimes ecu can do this, how do you know pump is ok, where is whirring coming from???

I like to see fuse box in engine compartment and its link for suzuki cino

not even a year stated, is this a test? (we failed)
1994?
lost the operators guide, it is there.
and the box it self is marked, look yet?
and is in the FSM book (factory serv. man)
buy one?
we dont have Cino here, in usa, and is a usa forum.
we did have Swifts in 1985 , that were CINO based.
means we dont have books on it either. for obvious reasons.
so join an Suzuki Australian forum>? my guess, as to where you live.....
next time post country, please,,, be the 4th ever out of 1million.
why?
because
fuse boxes vary by
Country
and engine options. and A/C options.
and more.....

the cars operators manual matches ALL THAT.

Were can i get a free workshop manual for 1998 Suzuki swift cino in english for australia

join an Australian Forum, ever consider that<?
Our forum is USA and we don't have any books on your cars.
not only that, there is no PDF back in 1998. so some poor guy/gal
would have to scan it page by page front and back for a week.
no one has yet.. sorry, (hope im wrong but , i bet not !)
best place for real used book is on ebay (Australian, version)

login to alldata.com yet see if what you want to do matches yours?
login to suzuki pitstop plus and look
its just 4 bucks to look !
but the engine choice here, are less so may not match, same with wiring and wiring colors, and lighting, and other differences(laws)

ever google, and use Australia as part of the search?

our forum here X, is in California. and is not organized at all
and for sure country.
in fact, our forum forgets to even ask that. step 1. Sadly.
this one fact, makes most answers wrong, or at least 1/2

you are posted to a USA forum so answers on Cino are limited.
Cino smacks of Australia. join a suzuki forum there? and win?

some countries dont have your engine ,so is skipped.

we have 4 major on line virtrual FSM, an tnot one covers cino.

why not stated real year, not a range?

When i try and start car it makes a whirring siund and does not start

It may be that the gear in the starter that engages the flywheel is not operating and it is just spinning. This will make a whirring sound as you describe. If that is the case, a new starter is needed.

I have a Diesel 4WD Grand Vitara. Was driving normally and then all of a sudden it would not start. Previously when I tried to start it there was a little whirring noise and then when the light sequence...

you failed to say, does crank, when it don't start?
and btw, the fuel pump on most cars only run cranking or running
some run for 3 seconds, key on, but you'd miss that fact. using
only one person.
the key word here is crank, does it crank as full speed, via the cranking starter motor. that is the engine cranks spins fast.
on this car it will spin min 250 RPM, cranking, and uses large
battery current , so on diesels it takes a very strong battery to start
and working glow plugs.

I have a 2000 Dodge Caravan, 3.0L V6, Automatic w/ A/C. There is a distinct whirring sound coming from the mechanicals (engine/transmission) and changes when it shifts. At take off, intermittantly, then...

The change in sound after a shift shows that it's something attached to the engine, which is driven directly by it. Change in RPM of the engine effects change in the sound you hear. Whirring noises which change with engine RPM are normally things like Power Steering pump, or Alternator.

Start the engine and let it idle, and listen with a piece of fuel line in your ear to see where the noise is the loudest. You'll be able to tell where it's coming from that way, and know exactly what it is.

I'd suggest checking your fluids. If the noise is getting louder, you could be doing damage to the PS system, if that's what the problem actually is.

Another option is the torque converter, although much less likely than the former.
