My 2007 kia spectra air conditioner wont cool car nor does the washer fluid spray the windshiel or come out for that matter is it a fuse

I have the same problem with my '06 Spectra 5. I haven't noticed the knocking sound though. The weird thing is my rear window washer works fine which leads me to believe that the washer pump is still OK but what do I know :D

It is the proportioning valve. It was only available at the dealerships repair center for me. $70.28. its a very common problem. and a pain in the **** getting the old one off. i found you cuz im trying to find out how to get the brake lines off. a 10 mm open end wrench does not work. going to try 100 mm line wrench in a minute. wish me luck. by the way there are 6 lines running to it and 2 bolts hold it to the firewall

take it to your local kia garage the engine light can only be turned of by a computer that the kia garage will have you cant do it yourself sorry m8

For those of you who may google this link and are looking for an solution, my local repair shop isolated my 2005 Amanti problem to a $2.78 plastic clip on the temperature blend door actuator rod linkage. It simply fatigued and eventually broke resulting in the actuator rod falling off the actuator door lever. The labor to isolate the problem and to replace the clip did amount to almost $170. Hope this helps those of you in the future.
