I thinking on buying uses mercedes benz 300E ( 1991). the car has not been used in 4 years. need new tires, tune-up. what do you think it will cost to repair and value of the car.

It all depends on the exterior paint and the interior, for 4 years of not running you will need a fuel pump which will not work so thats 200. dollars 4 tire new so that 300 dollars, change all the fluid so that 200 dollars, now the engine condition does it burn oil? does it over heat? how about the airconditioner does it work.I like MBZ and so do tow trucks,

Transmission and timing belt I have over 200,000 miles on my Mercedes 300E series. Should I change my chain timing belt immediately? Transmission is a little funky. Would changing the transmission...

If you mean the timing chain yes would be my response. If you have never changed it who knows what condition its in. If you mean the belt just check the rubber for cracks and such and replace as needed.

Transmission has cooling lines that pass through the radiator for longevity. New fluid and filter will help the clutches from being worn for sure. Its a 30K mile change so definatly a good idea. Also check for vacuum leaks.

My mercedes 1991 300E 2.6 must need the fuel filter replaced What tools are necessary to remove it?

Not sure of what your issue is buy fuel filter is by the fuel pumps under the car rear passenger area under a plastic cover. Some combination wrenches and a good way to stop the flow of gas from both ways and you just swap it out.

What type of automatic transmission oil for '03 C 270 CDI Merc/Be

You'll need to use mercedes-benz brand electronic trans fluid only. There are some aftermarket options for synthetic fluids, but unless you are sure they are compatible do not use them!
