Get it to a dealer. Or find a mechanic with diagnostic equipment. He will check the memory bank of the engine ecu. With the engine symbol on, it is warning you that something is wrong, and it is in limp mode.
It might be faster if the car was brought to a shop for diagnostics. The ECU has detected a fluid issue and the engine is protecting itself. Check the oil level and transmission fluid. Also check your records and see if the vehicle needs an oil change, transmission service, or antifreeze service. It could be related to your brakes but it that was the case. You have noticed other warning lights. Please write back and let me know what you found or if you have other questions, good luck.

We had this with our grand picasso all the warning lights on then car went into limp mode replaced two lambda sensor as this is what citroen thought it was in the end coolant sensor was leaking up wire back to ecu making all kinds of lights come on as it malfunctioned in the end new ecu cost over thousand pounds.
i had a problem with all my lights coming on in my 2006 explore took it to dealer to find out that the battery was dying replaced it and they went away
My girlfriends car has just started with the same problem, a limp home from the garage, a sleep over night and als well next day, for a while... I spoke to Mitsubishi and they have told me the TPS (throttle positioning sensor) is on the accelorator pedle assembly. There PN for this is MN125791 and its circa £88 + VAT. After exhausting all other options I may attempt this replacement and will advise the results.
