Hello. The best thing to do first is check out the fuel filter first to see if it is bad or not. Then see if the fuel lines are good or bad. Then see if the fuel pump is good or bad. Good Luck.

Mazda bt 50 problems

If you still have 25 lts still left in the tank and get it out. I would think the pick up tube is bent or cracked and no longer at the bottom of the tank.

On a 1972 Chevy K5 Blazer, the tan wire from the gas sending goes to the back of the fuel gauge I understand. Where on the back of the fuel guage exactly does it go? Does any wire go to fuse block? W

Power should goto the gauge, second wire from the gauge goes to the sender unit on the tank. If there's any other terminals on the gauge or the tank they will be grounds

I get terrible mileage full tank all the way down to 1/4 left. (Around 10mpg) but then I get great mileage last 1/4. I have an 04 hyundai xg350l

You more than likely have something in your gas tank that is contaminating the fuel, such as water. When you get below 1/4 tank, you are pulling up what is normally out of range. I would go to your local parts store and pick out something that will dry the water HEET, and something that will clean your fuel system (perhaps something that can do both). Depending on the store, you should find highly knowlegable people there that can help you pick something that will help. After you have done that, replace your fuel filter, as these contaminants can also clog the filter (they should be changed every 10,000miles but hardly gets done).

Rear fuel pump 1991 F150 will not turn on,, front works ok,, rear pump does work,, dash switch has been changed,, what next??

Do you have a fuel guage reading for the rear tank when selected? Unplug the rear tank fuel pump electrical connector and check for voltage on the terminal with the brown/ white wire and the orange wire should be twelve volts. If nothing then measure the orange wire for continuity to ground should close to 0 or .1 ohms. If no continuity between ground and the orange wire then you have an open on the orange wire this needs to be repaired so that when you test for continuity again it is within range. If you have twelve volts now between the connector terminals. Plug the connector back in and try the pump again. If you had 12 volts to begin with disregard the repair above. Unplug the front fuel pump electrical connector and test for continuity between the terminals on the tank that the red and orange wires go to. Record the readings. Now you a baseline of what the rear tank fuel pump should read. Now do the same test on the rear tank between the terminals on the fuel pump where the brown/white and orange wires go. Chances are you'll find out the rear pump it self is bad from not being used for a while.

Was running normal and started to sputter and quit running. firing but not getting gas.

You will need to check the fuel pressure. If you it is fuel injection, you will have a connection on the fuel line to the motor under the hood. No fuel pressure indicates one of three problems. Fuse in fuse box, relay in relay box under the hood or fuel pump located in fuel tank.
