2000 buick lasabre Does it have factory amp??where is it located??

Depends on what audio system you have . Base , upscale etc.... You need to look on the RPO code sticker , could be in the glove box , center console , trunk , driver door jam ? RPO - regular production order .

OK, I changed/adjusted the TPS on my 86 Cadillac. The car will start and run for about 20sec then shut off. Im getting error codes E22, E26, E52 and F32. Does anyone know what is wrong now?

Very likely it could be a crankshaft position sensor if you can fire it up and runs for 20 seconds and shuts down it could be your problem which if that is one of the error codes after a scan it can trigger other codes with that one faulty sensor

Have a 2003 ba ford had computer board replaced cd player now coming up with the word code where do i find the code for that is it in the car mannual book...and how do i put the code in

Hi,

If it was a Ford factory installed stereo, the security code will be kept on a national database and can be obtained from your local Ford parts dept. As long as you prove to them you are the current owner of that registered vehicle, they will provide you with the code.

The procedure to input the code, will be written in your owners manual.

I tried messing with the light switches in my car to cut the yellow lights and brake lights off. No matter what they will not cut off. I hit my keyless entry earlier to unlock the doors and Im thinking...

the thermostat will need to be changed. The light problem may be solved if you first get the code for your car stereo and then disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery for 30 seconds. This should reset the keyless entry system. It will also cause anti-theft stereos to shut down until the proper code is entered. Some car stereos have an anti-theft system where you must enter a code to get the stereo to work again after a loss of power. The code is usually in the paperwork you received when you purchased the car. It may be written down in the owner's manual. But have the code ready before you disconnect the battery.

Factory Radio CD player partial failure. Was driving shake down cruise, stopped for gas, no key response when ready to go. Positive terminal on battery was loose, secured. Then the stereo would not play...

The dealer is trying to rip you off. Your stereo has the Delco Loc II anti-theft system that locks the stereo in the event of a power loss or anytime the battery is disconnected. Here are the instructions on getting the unlock code number. Write these numbers down as they appear on your stereo. 1. Turn on the ignition but leave the radio off. 2. Hold down the preset buttons 1&2 or 3&4 for about 10 seconds. A 3 digit number wilkl appear. Write this down as the first three digits of the code. 3. Now press the am/fm button. The display will change to another 3 digit number. Write this down as the second three digits of the code. You will now have a 6 digit code. Call this toll free number and follow the prerecorded voice intructions and they weill give you a code to enter into your stereo to unlock it and make it work again. If this toll free number is not working, call your dealership and ask them to give you the toll free number to call. If it's a decent dealership, they will call the number for you and get the code you need, but I would'nt count on it. The number is 1-800-537-5140. If this is any help to you,, please vote. Your owners manual will give you instructions on how to enter the unlock code. If you have trouble with that or don't have an owners manual, I can help you with it. Good luck.

Stereo Code

if you look in your glove box in the owners manual under the stereo section there might be a car or a piece of paper with the stereo code information on it. If not you can call your local honda dealer and give them your vin/serial number and they can look it up on there computers and tell you what it is.
