Check the brake pedal. Does it have a switch on it that turns on the break lights? located right under the dashboard? Is the pedal or the switch adjusted wrong, so it does not click off when the pedal is released?
possibly a loose or bad parking brake sensor which should be located near the top of the parking brake arm, may require removing the lower panel of the dash cover to see it clearly.
For systems that have the SET button:
Press SET: Within 5 seconds, press and hold the right SEEK button until the correct minute time is reached. Hold the SET button and then the left SEEK button until the right hour time is reached.
For systems with HR and Min buttons:
Press and hold the hour button until the correct hour is on the display and do the same for the minute button.

It is on the charcoal filtering canister (engine compartment on fender wall) that your gas tank's vapor lines attach to. If you have a trouble code from this you can first try spraying it with some carb cleaner and using a small screwdriver to free up the plunger that gets stuck and causes this problem, or else just replace it.
