Passager window can be controlled by the driver's side also (usually). So that drivers switch interacts with the passenger switch then goes to the motor. It's like a 3 way circuit in a house.

Hi, that wire is disconnected when the door panel is removed to work on the window motor. Take the car back and ask them to reconnect your door locks. If you want to fix it yourself, you may be able to access the connector by removing only the control panel where the door lock switch is installed. Remove any visible screws and then pry gently to pull up the panel. Odds are, however, that the whole door panel will need to be pulled loose to find the cable. You can possibly just pull the bottom of the panel loose, but do it carefully. Feed the wire back up to the control panel and reconnect to the switch. Thanks for using Fixya.

Window comes down but won't go back up

Since you hear the motor, it's probably the cable connecting the motor to the regulator, but the cable itself is not replaceable. The regulator and motor come as an assembly.

Electric window

most likely the electric motor that raises and lowers the window is defective, u will need to remove the door panel and replace the window motor, about a 2 hour job and $100 in parts.

Driverside window won't go back up

I had to change the driver side switch in mine, also on a MonteCarlo. I think it was $40.
On the passenger door, the window came out of the track because the guide track rusted loose.
