There are two filters for your transmission, one internal that`s not serviceable and one external serviceable filter. These transmissions have a high failure rate.
Here is a link to a good fluid/filter change tutorial with pictures:

FIRST YOU HAVE TO UNBOLT THE TRANSMISSION PAN ON THE BOTTOM OF THE TRANSMISSION. THERE WILL BE FLUID IN IT SO BE CAREFUL NO TO SPILL IT. AFTER THE PAN IS OFF YOU WILL SEE THE FILTER ON THE BOTTOM OF THE VALVE BODY. IT MAY BE BOLTED ON AS WELL. HOPE THIS HELPS. LET ME KNOW. GOOD LUCK

Sorry, I'm just now getting it to you. The dipstick is located on the passenger side of the car way down at the bottom. It should have a yellow handle. It's just to the right and down of the battery. Let me know if you can't find it still and I will get you a picture somehow.

You open the glove box and you will see two black plastic pieces toward the top on either side of the glove box. This is what is holding the glove box up. Get a screw drive and pop these off. the glove box will fall down. Then you will see a white plastic box this is where your filters are...open it and pull both out and replace
