The yellow wire from the truck attaches to the red wire of the stereo. The black wire goes to the black wire. If the truck doesn't have a black wire, connect the black wire from the stereo to a bolt on the frame of the dash. The orange wire from the truck goes to the yellow wire of the stereo. Yeah you can remove the hood and enginge but it's much harder that way! Just kidding the dash is notthat hard to get out one speedo cable and four screws witll get the speedo head out so you can change the bulbs, they are miniture bulbs to.

I have totally replaced my speakers but start with just removing radio to ck. wires to radio and then to speakers. They are color coded with radio wire harness. Do not remove whole dashboard not needed since radios come out fairly easily. Many times speakers just cook in a hot sunny car so need replacing. If new ones don`t work then it`s not the speakers.Good luck. Joe
