Jun. 24, 2009 - Hello, I can not help with owners manual as you would need to conatct a dealer or do online search.I can however possibly help with the fuse ...
1 answer · Top answer: Now you have fuse blocks, On a left hand drive car, it is fuse # XXXXX ins
The IOD fuse is located in the IPM (Intelligent Power Module - a fancy term for the main fuse box) which is in the engine compartment right next to the battery.
The IOD ( ignition Off Draw ) fuse is a 60amp fuse located in the underhood fuse block in cavitiy j13 I beleive it's yellow...This is the IOD - Main fuse.
FUSE in the odometer window means the IOD (Ignition-Off Draw) fuse in the Power Distribution Center under the hood is blown, removed, or has a failure in the wiring.
This fuse is removed during long-term storage on the dealer lot before the car is originally sold to keep the battery from being drained by dome lights left on, radio memory, etc. It has a yellow holder around it for quick identification. EVERY Neon built has one of these fuses; and every Chrysler product has one dating back to probably the original LH cars in '93.
Check the IOD fuse in the under hood fuse block. If its o.k. then there is an issue with the IOD (ignition off draw) circuit. I should be able to get you some wiring info if you need it.
check the power distribution center under the hood for the IOD fuse.it will be 2 fuses in a yellow or white plastic housing and make sure its completely seated. mos tchryslers have a IOD fuse for shipping purposes. it is used to prevent battery drain. if its not in place correctly it will show fuse or no fuse in the drivers info center on the dash
The light that says "FUSE" is refering to the IOD (Ignition Off Draw) fuse. It is located in the engine compartment Power Distribution Center (PDC). For more information, This subject is covered in the vehicle Owner's Manual.
Take it to a dealership it sounds expensive but in the long it will be cheaper and faster the may even have the computer in stock but it sounds to me like you might have something else wrong because if the ipc says fuse then it is not reviving power from the iod fuse.
