Trace the wiring harness at the rear to see if its rubbed through anywhere. Check all plugs are fully home and plugs pins are in good condition, not corroded or wet. Next check the ground leads on both rear lights to see if its an earth fault sending current to both bulbs. Next, remove one bulb and see if the other functions normally. Then try other way round. See if that shows up any fault.
Also, if you have a trailer socket, check that for cross connection etc.

SOURCE: turn signals

There is a flasher module that causes the flashers to blink, ususally in or near the fuse box, may want to try changing it. However, if your hazards work, this is probably not the problem. My guess is there is a switch inside the steering column that the signal arm closes when moved, the switch may be bad.

SOURCE: rear turn signal indicator

There is a fuse under the hood in the fuse/relay box by the driver side fender marked LR TURN that is probably blown, each corner has own fuse.

SOURCE: 94 Gmc Jimmy left turn signals work, but righr

If they come on when turned to the right but don't flash I would say flasher unit. I've seen it before. If they don't even come on most likely switch is culprit.

What causes turn signal to work correctly in front but both flash in back

Short in wire.. look under the rear of the truck.. find the tail light harness.. take your volt meter and see if it is flashing there.. if not than the short is in the harness running up to the rear lights.. If it is flashing there trace forward.. could be anywhere between that connection and the flasher.. Post a comment and let us know what you find..

Why does turn signal work correctly in front both flashes in back 1988 s 15

I think that would be a bad turn signal switch. A voltmeter or test light could verify this, working at the electrical connector on the steering column for the turn switch.

Turn signals in front don't flash and back flash quickly

you need to check signal bulbs and their sockets and their wiring. when you correct problem infront rears will be ok since flasher requires total 4 bulbs to blink at a correct rate. if fronts are out load is limited and flasher acts faster

Error code 33 on 1988 gmc s15 2.5 When the motor warms up the check engine light turns on and when I drive it it turns off after a couple of feet of driving. Any suggestions?

Code 33 means MAP sensor signal has low vacuum or circuit voltage is high here is the tricky part it can also point to a failed distributor reluctor so do this inspect the vacuum hose that attached to it at idle is there full vacuum then check the connection it safer just to replace it including the vacuum hoses if the code comes on check the timing make sure it correct also when you floor it does it stumble or cough if it does its the whole distributor will need to be replaced

2006 pt cruiser on drivers side rear turn signal

The turn signals flash depends on each and every bulb working correctly. When one bulb fails, you will notice a change in the flash frequency, as you describe.

Replace or repair the bulb that is not working, and you should be good to go.

Tail Light Malfunction

Try looking for the spot where all your wires come together, near the rear bumper. I was having the same issues until I found the problem today and fixed it. I found a loose ground to the frame the bolt holding multiple grounds was loose. I found it near the rear bumper. I tightened it up and everything started working correctly. Good luck, hope you can find the problem.
