SOURCE: diagnostic code p0135
What engine is in this vehicle? I assume the avalon would be a 3.0L or similar V6 engine. Bank 1 sensor one indicates one of the primary O 2 sensor controlling a/f ratio. Sensor one bank one would be the sensor located in the Front manifold, closest to the engine. Hope this solves your issue. I would first check the conector at this sensor for corrison before buying a new sensor.

That code will not affect the drivability of the vehicle. The heater does just that: it heats up the oxygen sensor to operating temperature. You can change it yourself, raise the vehicle up, the sensor is the one on the passenger side, right after the exhaust manifold.
Thanks for choosing FixYa for advice!

P0171- mens the MAF sensor is dirty and needs cleaned. You can get MAF cleaner at your local auto parts store. The MAF is located in the air intake just after the air filter
P1130- is more than likely a result of the previous code. It is in regard to the feul/air mixture ratio. A dirty MAF can cause this code.
Also, if you are using an aftermarket oiled air filter, it would be the cause of the P0171 code.

check the mass air flow sensor there maybe dirt on the filiment inside the sensor causing false readings. cleaning or replacing it may make the codes go away.
SOURCE: ocv circuit in toyota
OCV is the oil control valve for the VVTi system, it's located on the side of the cylinder head at the front and has an electrical connector on it, the valve may the problem but it cou;ld also be a clogged oil passage that supplies regulating pressure to the valve or the VVTi gear, the system operation can be checked by connecting an intelligent tester that can activate the system to verify if the valve is the problem, before replacing expensive parts I would make sure what the problem actually may be.
