The User Manual pages concerning fuses is useless and the web seems to be a veritable laberynth of dead-ends. Anyone out there want to play hero and get me a detailed description of fuse locations and purpose for my 2009 VW Jetta TDi?

I would check the ground for the plate lights. You have to remove the steering wheel and dash trim to get to the cluster for removal. Let me know if you need to know how to remove the cluster.

you are low on gas so it will not click on as the gas is also the lubricant ,this vehicle should hold about 700 grms of gas

On drivers side of dash. The edge that would be covered by door when it is closed. There should be a picture in you owners manual. There is a small cut out on bottom that you stick a screw driver in to pry open.
