1994 acura vigor where is the ac relay located?

My AC stopped working, I know there is enough R134a in there. Before I replace the compressor I want to try the A/C relay but my book doesn't talk about it and I cant find it on line.

Pretty sure you will find two relays on the drivers side of the radiator right next to it. One is for the A/C compressor, the other is for the Condensor Fan. they are usually interchangeable.

SOURCE: clicking sound when turning ignition to start my 1994 Acura Vigor

your solenoid sits right next to your starter on the same housing you can check it by removing your starter from your transmission bell housing follow your positive cable from your battery there will be two bolts . this could be a pain in the **** but you can do it. once you have it out you can check it with a set of jumper cables on the ground . connect your neg: cable to the outer housing were the bolt holes are. then touch the pos: cable to the small bolt and the large bolt at the same time. if the starter ingages at a high speed rpm than its ok this means if the gear in front pops out and spins with no problem. when you do this the starter will try to jump dont be frieghtend. hold it for just a few second so you dont burn out the solenoid. if none of this happens then you need a new starter good luck

Check for brake fluids and make sure all the brake fluid container is closed tightly. Also, you make have to bleed the brakes.

SOURCE: 02 acura rsx-s AC stopped

my 2002 rsx type s ac did the exact same thing. got to the point that i started hearing a weird noise like stuff clunking around everytime i turned it on. took it into the dealer and they said the compressor just fell apart inside... i had to buy a new one and it wasnt cheap to replace. problem was, the same equipment also played a part in the heating system too... so they told me.

2018 Ford f150 5.0L ac clutch relay says non serviceable

you have no R134a Freon (puron) refridgant now.
no problem told at all, car out of warranty????????
sure AC is dead right can we know this first?
first off learn how AC works or gue$$sing will be super expen$ive.
the PCM and BCM brains run AC
and has lots of rules to do so.
and those brains cut the AC dead for many reasons even 10 .
OK this is rule #1 to learn
fuses good (the endless story here)
1: fuses good;.as in ALL.
2: scan the PCM for AC errors. really jack in to the obd2 port under dash and scan it or go broke fast guessing
3: if the input to the AC relay is dead wrong why blame it? IDK?
4: the blower in dash must blow on high does it? it must !!!!
5: the AC lamp on dash controls must glow when turned on and it must; or we fix that first.
6: the knows set to recirc mode, hot/cold spun to full cold., and vents set to what you want I try them all fore sure front vents.
7: the AC clutch energizes. if not see below. causes.(not from above)
8: R134a high/low switch (pressure transducer) is tripped to low and AC is shut down on purpose or is too high, overfilled R134a causes that. for sure
9: the bend door struck closed, may case the evap to ICE UP
and trip off the clutch.
10 does the evap core tubes fell cold?
11the blend door most block heater core to get COLD air.but will not sure if clutch is not engaged sure.

you pulled vacuum on the new system for 30min + ?
and put in the correct by weight of R134a?

the AC shuts down if engine pcm detects overheated even ECT lies
or ECT is stuck in an air pocket air on cooling loop.
see why we scan all cars, for sure
AC shuts down if engine is overload, even if map or MAF sensors lie to it. (again we scan ALL THAT)
AC SHUTS DOWN IF PCM SEES FRONT FANS FAILING
AGAIN SCAN IT.
THE CAR RUNS VARIABLE GRADE COMPRESSOR, THAT MUST BE THE CORRECT PART.
F36 AND F32 MUST NOT BE BLOWN
THE WORDS NON SERVICABLE, MEANS THE WHOLE BJB MUST BE REPLACED FOR 1 RELAY BAD. SUX SURE.
BUT THE 2 FUSES MUST BEG GOOD 12VDC BOTH SIDES KEYON
THE PIN 32 AT 12VDC, RUNNING AC ON.
PIN 5 IS 0V AC ON BUT IS AT 13 TO 15V ENGINE IDLING AND ACT ON THIS MEANS, PCM DOES NOT WANT TO TURN IT ON
ON PURPOSE AND MY LIST ABOVE SHOWS MOST OF THEM

f36-undefined-undefined-0.jpg LEARN THAT NEWER CARS ARE WORST
TO SAVE FUEL AND CO2, OUTPUT THE THERE ARE
LOTS OF AMBIENT SENSOR TOO THAT MUST BE IN RANGE.
SCANNING THE OBD2 PORT IS THE ONLY WAY TO FIND THIS OUT.
PIN 36 IS THE VARIABLE. ACCV SOLENOID, NOT SURE ME
IF BAD WHAT THE COMPRESSOR DOES I GUESS GOES TO LOW OUTPUT NOT DEAD.

Where is compressor clutch located?

It is turned by (usually) the main serpentine belt. When the AC is not in use the clutch spins freely. When the AC "kicks" in what is really happening is the clutch in the compressor is locking up and the belt makes the pulley turn, compressing the freon.

What are Reasons why ac not blowing cold cold air 1992 acura vigor

Most likely in a vehicle of that age is that the refrigerant has leaked out due to bad seals in the compressor or in the connecting lines. Have a professional check your refrigerant level and test the operation of your compressor clutch.

Bought a 1992 acura vigor and found horn fuse missing. when I replaced the fuse alarm goes off and constantly sounds. how do I stop it? I've read that there's a relay somewhere under the hood

horn relay located on the right side kick panel, you will see a row of relays,if horn relay is okay, more likely your horn control pad has a short inside causing horn button contacts to stick causing horn to keep blowing.

Im working on a1988 Cadilac deville , replaced ac compressor , accumlator , orfus tube . i also vaccumed the system , reset computer . started car filled with 134a . worked fine till i drove for bout 1mi ....

Your have a low refrigerant level. Econ staying on and service ac will stay on too. Sounds like you didnt put enough r134a in the system. How much r134a did you add? Capacity is 38 ounces(thats
with R12), and a bit less than that for r134a.

Air conditioner suddenly not working.. No funny noise, just acts like it is not getting power. compressor kicks on and off checked relays behind glove compartment. Was told ac relay may not located with...

AC COMPRESSOR KICKING OFF AND ON.SOUND LIKE REFRIGERANT LOW.LOW SIDE SHOULD BE 20 - 36 PSI AND HIGH SIDE SHOULD BE 215 - 310 PSI. AC SYSTEM COULD HAVE A LEAK WHILE YOUR COOLING STOPPED. DRIVER SIDE WINDOW MOST TIME SWITCH WILL BE THE PROBLEM.REMOVE SWITCH SEE IF POWER GOING TO POWER WINDOW MOTOR.YOU HEAR WINDOW MOTOR TRYING TO WORK WHILE USING SWITCH.WINDOW REGULATOR COULD BE BINDING DAMAGED OR NEED LUBRICATING.OR MOTOR NEED REPLACED.IF POWER NOT GOING TO POWER WINDOW MOTOR THE CONTROL SWITCH IS BAD IF ITS THE ONLY SWITCH.TO TELL IF WINDOW SWITCH IS BAD SHAKE POWER WINDOW SWITCH WIRES WHILE OPERATING CONTROL SWITCH.IF POWER WINDOW WORKS YOU KNOW SWITCH IS BAD.TAKE CAR TO AC SHOP BECAUSE LET THEM CHECK AC SYSTEM BECAUSE IF YOU BUY 2 CANS OF R134 REFRIGERANT. AND YOU TRY CHARGING AC SYSTEM YOUR SELF AND ALL REFRIGERANT LEAKS OUT. YOU GOING TO BE OUT OF $30.00 STILL NO AC.THAT WHY ITS BEST TO LET SHOP PUMP DOWN AC SYSTEM CHECK FOR LEAKS BEFORE RECHARGING AC SYSTEM.
