Does the level drop when you have less fuel?
Some fuel gauges show the level in the tank no matter if the keys are in or not.

94 Toyota Camry ignition lock cylinder issues

The problem of the car dying should be unrelated to the worn key and ignition barrel, as the electrical contacts only depend on the key turning, which it does.

The car may have -

- a vacuum leak somewhere in the intake tract. Look for a split in the big flexible coupling after the air cleaner

- insuffiicient fuel pressure. This might be a blocked filter, pinched fuel line (from a rock), failing pump, or a faulty overpressure release valve in the fuel rail. Get a fuel pressure gauge connected to the fuel rail and see what it reads.

Trying to start 2007 Camry 4cyl. When trying to start get a very fast clicking sound from under the hood and car won't start. Lights and gauges work fine and show power is there. Suggestions?

Thats the starter working it's magic. Since your not getting gas spark.I would check the Fuel filter. Have a friend bang on the gas tank while you try to start it too if it starts then it's your fuel pump

My 2009 toyota camry won't start. I can't even turn the key. The car is in park and i step on the brake when I try to turn the key.

try turning the steering wheel back and forth while gently trying to turn the key, sometimes if the wheel is binding, it wont allow the key to turn.

Turn the steering wheel and the key at the same time.
Turn the wheel HARD, whilst turning the key to the "on" position.

Gauge cluster lights

You should have a dimmer switch that increases or decreases the amount of light that the dash produces. This should be located to the right of the steering wheel. It is a wheel that goes up or down. I believe on your model you can slide the switch all the way up, and you will feel a click, and that should be the brightest setting.

Let me know what you find out!
