This might be a form of the 'service engine soon' or 'check engine' light. Check the codes on the 2005 model year vehicle with an obd-II compliant scanner.
if light stays on it means the problem is an active code meaning what ever the cause it is broken, you need to drive it over to auto zone or advance and have them pull the codes for you they do it for free.
If you have an owners manual the information will be in there on all the dash light s and what they mean if its gold color looking engine symbol and says check below it its your check engine light that is on and this means your computer has found a problem in your truck this can mean anything vacune leaks -faulty o2 sensor-faulty mass air meter ext.....you need to have the codes pulled from your computer to get a better idea of whats going on any autozone will pull the codes for free so i would start there i work for a toyota dealer as a mechanic hope this helps
95 toyota may have an early obd2 diagnostics, which started for all cars in 96,which means it can track a cylinder misfire, when ck light flashes it can mean multiple misfire detected causing serious loss of power, you can try going to autozone they do free ck engine light code reading ,tell them you may have obd2 plug according to web,let me know codes if you get lucky.with AZ its hit or miss
