Does it try to turn over?It could be the coilpack. Or possibly the crank sensor.

Your symptoms are identical to those that I had. The solution was to replace the ignition coil. It had a very small crack that expanded with heat. Replacing the coil solved the problem....

When my intrepid warms up it dies and wont start til it cools down

Hi Andrew, I'll try my best to help but this can be a lot of things on your car that can cause this problem, but from experience with working on Intrepids with dieing problems. I would tell you to replace the CAM and Crank Sensors and see what happens. In no means I'm I telling you this will fix your problem, but is what I have ran across more than anything else causing dieing problems. It could be the PCM, Coil Pack, or even something else bringing down the BUS circuit. BUT, I'm just saying if it was my vehicle thats where I would start. The CAM and CRANK both and see what happens. Hope this helps and have a awesome day Andrew!

Why does my 02 intrepid 2.7 starts and runs great until it warms up then it dies and wont start until it cools down

check fuel pressure make sure they are within specs. then if it is , very possible that you a problem with ignition module. this module is known to fail, and my experience using rebuilt is not good it took 6 unit before we got a good one. good luck

Check engine light flashes 9 times

is there any pause between flashes? you need a scan tool on an 02 vehicle for that kind of problem. codes for pcm are not single digit. so now it begs the question... how did it get in a flash mode? perhaps the allpar website is a good place to seek data. but you need to decide if it cranks but wont start? wont start, wont crank? or cranks, start -die allpar could have tsb data for you. or the public library, i look cars up on mitchell database there and get recalls/tsb's as well as pinpoint tests for codes.

1994 intrepid starts runs until warm then cuts off wont start until cools off

Chances are its something electrical, but thats a big list.
You'll have to rule out a few things and check for spark and fuel pressure when it won't start.

Starts cold when warm shuts off

May be the fuel pump, experienced similar problems in 1995 Intrepid. When the pump warmed up, it would start to loose pressure and car would sputter and die, but would start back up. If it started it would usually begin sputtering again and eventually die.

I have a 1999 intrepid that wont stay running after a few min.

it sounds a lot like the Timing is off. I would locate an Authorized Mechanic to set the Timing.
