check the connector for the MAF mass air flow sensor and TPS throttle position sensor. Unplug them and look at the terminals to see iof they are green with oxidation. if so, clean them with a tiny file, like a fingernail file but narrower, or jewelers file. somthing that will fit into the plug and scrape the crust off the contacts. after that, fill the plug and sensor with dielectric greese, like silicone greese they use for spark plug wire boots.to seal out the moisture.

How to change a headlight on Nissan Versa 2007. Open the hood, pull the power cable off of the headlight. Peel off the large black rubber cover. There is a metal clip you must push in and then out to unclip. The bulb will then slide out for replacement.

Error code p2138

Here is the definition. You may need to have someone check the accelerator pedal position sensor and the circuit.

P2138 NISSAN Description The Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) sensor is installed on the upper end of the accelerator pedal assembly. The sensor detects the accelerator position and sends a signal to the Engine Control Module (ECM).
Accelerator pedal position sensor has two sensors. These sensors are a kind of potentiometers which transform the accelerator pedal position into output voltage, and emit the voltage signal to the ECM.
In addition, these sensors detect the opening and closing speed of the accelerator pedal and feed the voltage signals to the ECM. The ECM judges the current opening angle of the accelerator pedal from these signals and controls the throttle control motor based on these signals.
Idle position of the accelerator pedal is determined by the ECM receiving the signal from the accelerator pedal position sensor. The ECM uses this signal for the engine operation
such as fuel cut.

I recently changed the sparks plugs on my 2007 Nissan Versa and now I am getting random idle problems while my car is in park. The car will idle from 1400 rpms them all of a sudden jump up to 2100 rpms and...

If your check engine light is on have it scanned for fault codes. Also check to make sure you don't have a vacuum leak, you could of pulled a hose loose accidently when you changed your plugs.
Signals from the oxygen sensor, and/or a bad throttle position will also cause engine surge.
Good luck, i hope this helps.

Car will idle but there is no response when

This car uses "drive by wire" technology and uses a sensor to measure gas pedal movement. This sensor the transmits the info to the engine. So there is no mechanical throttle cable. You might have a bad accelator pedal sensor or it could have a loose wire. Take a look under the dash at the pedal and see if you can locate the sensor and verify it is still connected.

No accerlation when pushing on gas pedal

IT may be as simple as a failed throttle cable (the cable may have come of its routing too)
Get under the hood and look at the thottle body which you can actuate by hand (van in park, break on) with the engine running the engine should rev by moving the throttle body.
I hope this may have helped,
Tom
