2 days ago i got in my car and realized my air conditioning was not working. Any setting i put it on, nothing would happen. No airflow whatsoever. Suddenly, after driving for a few minutes, i hear a beep as if i had hit the "on" button, and the air started blowing cold and strong. This same thing happened another time or 2. Now, the air will not even come on after prolonged driving. It is non-operational. Please help..
On this website you find fuse box diagram and description for KIA Amanti (2003 - 2006)

It could be your blower motor. It is located on the bottom passenger side of the dash board under/behind the glove box. There is a cover you can remove and you can touch the blower motor. once you have the cover off start the car and turn the fan speed to high then try hitting the blower motor and see if you get air flow. if this works you need to replace the blower motor. If not you need a test light and start checking fuses and see if you have power to the motor.

sucks guys, i have the same problem, at the moment i'm replacing my radiator, just dropped in on a break :)
if it does stop overheating i'll let you know, i've also changed temperature sensor, not it...

I'd also assume that it's from your AC/defroster. Condensation will continue to drip even after the AC/car has been shut off. It may also be condensation coming from your exhaust tailpipe. Both of these are normal and thought it's only water, it may pick up contaminants and therefore cause a stain.
In general, don't rely on your gauges/idiot lights to tell you when you're low on fluids, because they usually won't alert you until there's already a problem. Check your oil and coolant levels, and your tire's air pressure occasionally (every 3 months), more often if you suspect a problem.
If you don't have the know-how or inclination, to do this, most quick oil-change places check all this and more for you at no additional cost.
If it's really bothering you and your car is still under warranty, you may want to try the dealership.
SOURCE: Kia rio air conditioning light?
The manual instructions are basically:
Turn the fan to 0 (off, far left).
Turn the air control to full defrost (far right).
Press the recirculation button at least 5 times within 3 seconds.
If you've done it right, the recirculation button light will flash a few times at about 1/2 second intervals.
I've tried it on mine and this works.

For those of you who may google this link and are looking for an solution, my local repair shop isolated my 2005 Amanti problem to a $2.78 plastic clip on the temperature blend door actuator rod linkage. It simply fatigued and eventually broke resulting in the actuator rod falling off the actuator door lever. The labor to isolate the problem and to replace the clip did amount to almost $170. Hope this helps those of you in the future.
