Check to see if the serpantine belt is still there. It sounds like like it broke. this belt runs all of the accesories on the vehicle including the water pump. So if this happened it probably starting running hot too

The timing belt is the first thing that came to mind. You should be able to tell if the belt is broke because the engine would not have any compression.
Please check the TYRE pressure if this seems OK then you must hoist the car and check the steering with the wheels up . If this is not found to be free the power steering section must be checked in detail starting from the drive, the hydraulics to the ball joint links. Loss of fluid or fault in pump cannot be ruled out. check the drive belt which if failed will be indicated.
