Try disconnecting the horn and see if the fuse still blows when you press the horn button. If it does not blow the horn is probably bad. Buy a new horn.

SOURCE: horn fuse keeps blowing out

Check the wiring around the horn and make sure nothing is touching metal...look under the hood at the horn and make sure everything is pluged in and there is no water on any plugs or wiring...Make sure the fuse is the correct number (ex: 10, 20, 25) If it is still blowing out the fuse then you after you do some checking then it is a short in some wires

check all the wiring in the stearing wheel. Cover should screw off from the back side. Make sure the horn is hooked up. Should be in the front bumper. If it still dont work then buy a new one. Should run about fiftenn bucks.

SOURCE: 2008 Ford Escape Horn Fuse keeps blowing after

I would trace the wire from the horn and see if it was inadvertently damaged when the alternator was installed. If you have a voltmeter, you can remove the horn fuse and check to see if there is continuity between the horn (non hot side) of the fuse and the car body. This would indicate a short in the wire running from the fuse box to the horn. You can also look around the alternator mounting area to see if any wires are being pinched. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Where do I find the fuse for the horn on the Mitsubishi Montero sport. Which fuse is it my horn keeps going off and I had to disconnect my battery. Need help please.

Not sure exactly, but in you owners manual, usually in the glove box. There should be a diagram of the fuse box and fuses. You can pull the fuse to maybe solve your problem. But you will not have a horn and removing a fuse is not a correct repair for why your horn started honking in the first place. Hope this helps solve your problem. Good luck.

Horn randomly honks(very annoying while your trying to sleep) HELP!

its possible that the relay is the problem as most relays have a second power feed wire,if it shorts to the horn side of the relay it can blow the horn.doesn`t happen very often but it does happen.this could explain the horn blowing without the fuse in.you can get a door key made at a lock smith to solve that problem.

Horn blows constantly, doesn,t blow the fuse or anything else. can this problem be outside of the horn blowing assy. on the steering wheel? it,s a 2000 galant. problem occurs all the time if the switch is...

  • The horn relay might have welded contacts (stuck in the on position). Pulling the relay should stop the horn.
  • The wiring harness on the steering column might have a broken wire to the horn relay shorting to someplace that applies power to the relay. In this case, turning the steering wheel all the way to one side or the other may stop the horn, and it won't sound when you press the horn button.
  • The horn button in the steering wheel is stuck on or shorted.

Once your code is input, press either the am/fm, CD, or Tape button to activate the radio (different models use different buttons to 'enter' the code).

More information needed about your horn, does it just randomly honk?
