SOURCE: Security Light always on, door lock fuse keeps blowing

This is most likely a problem with your Passlock anti-theft system which is known issue with these cars. Passlock is a "passive" anti-theft system, which means that it will disable your ability to start the car if it thinks there is a problem. The three components that can cause this are: 1) Ignition Switch, 2) Ignition Cylinder, 3) Body Control Module (computer). The dealer is the only one who can solve this problem (unless you can bypass it, but it is not that easy). Estimated repair from most dealers is $800 and up.

SOURCE: no dome light when passenger door open

Since the passenger door doesn't get used as much as the drivers door, check to see if the switch is not just stuck. It is a little button with a spring that opens up and turns the light on. It is located on the hinge area of the door and when the door closes it shuts off the switch, if it is not stuck then I would suspect said switch.

check the switches on the doors. the light goes out when you close the doors. one of these switches might have a short.

SOURCE: dome light wont turn off

some times the door switch can be faulty. and it may be coincidence that the interior switch is faulty too. i have owned alot of S- series trucks and a few of them have done this to me. you need to individually check each door for switch contact

SOURCE: power locks not working right

Hey, this might work.....get in truck, close doors, put key in ignition in lock position.....hold down the door lock button on driver side door control and wait for the lock control to be displayed on the information screen(odometer read-out).....it should say like lock 1, lock 2, lock 3, lock 4.....or something, I always reset mine to LOCK 1, to do this hold the odometer reset button on dash for a sec or two til it changes settings, then release, repeat till you get to LOCK 1, then quickly press and release odometer reset button to exit program, this is the function to lock doors over 15 mph and when out of park and to unlock doors when returned to park......yours' might be set to another function number....try it out, let me know if this helps.........good luck!

Alarm won't work the roof door do not light on accord 1994

Check the dome light override switch lockated on the dome light itself, then check the fuse for "CTSY Lights" and finally, check the ground attachment by removing the lens cover of the dome (roof) light, an removing the plastic housing of the dome light by either removing a screw, or simply prying on the sides of the plastic housing, you should see a wire screwed into the roof metal.

No power to drivers door all switces and functions including dome light, mirrors controls, window switches and even the alarm doesn't work on drivers door only

The door functions in your vehicle are controlled by several control modules and are dependent on proper class2 communications between several modules including
> Body Control Module
> Drivers Door Module
> Passenger Door Module
> Powertrain Control Module
> Instrument Panel Control Module

Begin the system diagnosis with the Diagnostic System Check - Door Systems. The Diagnostic System Check will provide the following information:

> The identification of the control module(s) which command the system.
> The ability of the control module(s) to communicate through the serial data circuit.
> The identification of any stored diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) and their status.
> The use of the Diagnostic System Check will identify the correct procedure for diagnosing the system and where the procedure is located.

Lock the car and then pull each door to see which one is setting the alarm. Once you know which door it is, find the switch in the door jam that operates the dome light. If the switch is adjustable, adjust it out a bit until pulling on the door no longer lights the dome light or sets off the alarm. If it's not adjustable, perhaps you need more body work to fix it. Another option is to disable the switch by removing it, disconnecting the wire, taping the wire, and letting it go inside the body.
